Hotel Patria, Strbske Pleso

The hotel is situated in a stunning location by the lake, allowing for a serene atmosphere and picturesque views. The rooms are spacious with a lovely dining room setup for enjoying the lake view; however, some rooms are located on the 8th floor, which may not suit all guests. The service was attentive and accommodating, with the staff going above and beyond to fulfill requests like changing to a room with a view. The dining experience at Koliba Patria was good overall, but the absence of fresh juice was a letdown. The hotel's facilities offer convenience and comfort for a pleasant stay.

Staying at the hotel was an interesting experience. The rooms, while a bit oldish for a 4-star hotel, served their purpose well for a 2-night stay. The service was friendly and accommodating, although there were delays during check-in and check-out. The location, despite some eccentric individuals parading around indecently, offered unmatched access to the mountains and a central spot in High Tatras. The dining was satisfactory, especially for fueling up before hiking, but not quite at a 4-star level. Overall, a mixed but memorable stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, right on the shores of the lake with stunning views of the mountains. The rooms were spacious and smartly done, but it was a bit tight with an extra bed for our child. The dining options were great, but I wish they extended the hours for late eaters. Overall, a truly amazing place!
